Two B-25 bomber pilots 14th Air Force
22nd Bomb Squadron

Left: Lt. Cleland E. Wilmore
Right: Lt. Arnold Theodore Ziedses

Lt. Wilmore was a B25 pilot in the 22nd and I am pretty sure Lt. Arnold was also
in the 22nd Bomb Squadron.

(Information provided by Tony Strotman) Lt. Ziedses Des Plante is shown on assigned personnel rosters of one of the 22nd\'s sister units, the 11th Bomb Squadron and is believed to have safely returned to the U.S.  Along with the 14th patch on the left side of his A-2, on the right is the "Mr. Jiggs" insigne of the 1tth.

Several replacement personnel, crew and support, joining the 341st Bomb Group in 1944-45 knew each other prior to their assignment to the Group, often ending up in different squadrons.
