In recognition of his outstanding combat theater duties as recreational director, a direct 2nd Lieutenant commission has been given on the field to Cpl. Lee Wilson, husband of Mrs. Dorothy Wilson, 437 N Ardmore St., Los Angeles, Cal., headquarters of Maj Gen C. L. Chennault’s Fourteenth Air Force announced recently.
Lt. Wilson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Wilson, 619 North 2nd St., Alhambra, Cal., now assigned as Information and Education officer, entered the Army March, 1943.After a tour of duty in Utah, he flew the torturous Hump route in China, and reported for duty June 1944.
