Air Transport

Colonel T. Alan Bennett CO of "Al's Assassins", as his pilots have dubbed his fighter group, congratulates his Vice Commander, Major C. H. Yuan who escaped from the Japanese.  His altered ear and neck scars are visible but the cloth is not a bandage but one of the silk scarfs made from salvaged parachute, worn by many fliers. Both are members of the Chinese American [Composite] Wing of he Fourteenth Air Force.
